Fragrance Samples & Discovery Sets
FIND YOUR SCENT
A fragrance shows its true character only on your skin – not on a blotter, not in the shop, not on paper. That's why SNUD offers samples: sample sets with five scents of 1 ml each and discovery sets from our brands, enough for several days, moods and weather conditions.
Choose from the discovery sets of our brands, our themed sample sets – tea, oud, leather, vanilla and many more, plus one for each zodiac sign – and the DIY Sample Set, where you put together five scents yourself.
How does the Sample Service work?
The Sample Service applies to all our sample sets: the themed sets, the zodiac sets and the DIY Sample Set. Only the brand discovery sets are excluded. Each set contains five scents of 1 ml, either put together by us or, with the DIY Sample Set, freely chosen by you from our range (except Zoologist, as we import these fragrances from Canada).
If you later decide on a full size (30 ml+), we credit the €35 of your set against your purchase. The sample then costs you nothing.
Try first, then decide
Skin type, body temperature, season and even the day change how a fragrance opens and how long it lasts. A sample answers what no fragrance pyramid can: how does it smell on you? That's why we recommend trying new fragrances first as a sample or in a discovery set.
How to test a fragrance properly
To get to know a fragrance properly, we recommend:
Don't test too many at once: three to four a day is enough, after that your nose blurs.
Apply it directly to your skin – that's where it develops its individual character.
Give it time: the top notes fade after minutes, the heart shows after about an hour, the base only after several hours.
Try it on different days. Mood, weather and season change the impression.
And trust your instinct: the scent that keeps coming back to you is usually the right one.
