Björk & Berries – Scents from the Nature of Northern Sweden
Björk & Berries is a Swedish fragrance house that began as a small passion project in northern Sweden – with the idea of making perfumes from the flora right outside the door: birch, pine, wild berries. Today founder Isabelle Lewenhaupt runs the brand, and most of the scents are composed by Jérôme Epinette. Besides the eaux de parfum, the favourites White Forest, Never Spring, Fjällsjö and September also come as soap, hand cream and lotion. At SNUD in Vienna-Josefstadt you can smell and test them and take samples home.

Nature meets the art of perfumery
Founded in northern Sweden as a small passion project, Björk and Berries began with the vision of creating perfumes from the local flora – shaped by birch, pine and wild landscapes.
Today the fragrance house is run by founder Isabelle Lewenhaupt and has become established internationally. Her inspiration: the connection between nature, culture, art and Nordic identity.
A central place of this inspiration is Fäviken, the family farm in the north of Sweden – surrounded by mountains, ancient forests and Arctic light. This special atmosphere still shapes every creation today.
The collection at SNUD also includes Nomad, spicy, green and leathery, and Violet Sky, woody, fruity and spicy. Vanilla Veil shows the creamy, sweet side of the brand.
Birch – the heart of the brand
“Björk” is the Swedish word for birch – a symbol of life, renewal and Nordic identity. Birch runs like a common thread through the collection and gives the scents their clear, elegant and yet original signature. Most of the scents are composed by Jérôme Epinette, who translates Nordic nature into a quiet language of his own: eucalyptus and vetiver smoke in September, pepper, frankincense and oak in Faluröd, lemon, blackberry and peach in Never Spring.
Jérôme Epinette composed Fjällsjö together with Pierre Wulff. White Forest is fruity, floral and woody, September woody, spicy and fresh.
