ROOM 1015 was founded in 2014 by Michael Partouche, better known as "Dr. Mike" – a trained pharmacist with a taste for chaos, who once spent his nights as a guitarist in London rock bands. The brand's name comes from one very specific hotel room: Room 1015 at the Continental Hyatt House in Los Angeles, better known as the "Riot House" – infamous for motorcycles in the hallway and the night a rock band threw a television out the window after a heavy night of drinking. It's exactly that spirit of freedom, chaos and uncompromising rebellion that Dr. Mike translates into scent.

Now based in Paris, ROOM 1015 calls itself "the punk fanzine of perfumery" – an olfactive counterculture oscillating between the punk movement, artificial paradises, the sexual revolution and 1970s transcendental meditation. Every ROOM 1015 scent is its own full-volume story, never a quiet footnote.
