Une Nuit Nomade – Every Bottle a Journey
Une Nuit Nomade was founded in Paris in 2015 by Alexandra Cubizolles and Philippe Solas – both come from the music industry and share a passion for travel and fragrance. The name says it all: a “nomadic night” that invites you to travel from continent to continent without leaving your armchair. At SNUD in Vienna-Josefstadt you can smell and test the fragrances and take a sample home with you.
What makes Une Nuit Nomade special to us?
We love that every fragrance carries a real place you can name – a mountain village in Oman with its centuries-old irrigation channels, an almond grove in the Algarve, a spice route across the backwaters of Kerala. Each bottle tells one very specific memory that differs from scent to scent – which makes the travel the brand speaks of tangible for us.
Who are Une Nuit Nomade's fragrances for?
For everyone who wants to travel with their nose. If you like it fresh, start with Nothing but Sea and Sky, Shade of Blue or Sun Bleached; if you love sweet and creamy, with Chemin d'Amande or Jardins de Misfah; and if you are looking for spice and smoke, with Spicy Road, Ambre Khandjar or Estrella de la Mañana. To get to know the brand, there is the Discovery Set with ten fragrances of 2.5 ml each.
Whole collections built around real places
Instead of a single fragrance, Une Nuit Nomade builds whole collections around real places – Oman, Bali, the Omani coast, Cape Cod, South Africa – each with its own fragrance lines as Eau de Parfum and, for selected compositions, as a denser Extrait de Parfum. Every inch of skin becomes a new frontier, behind which a new scent and a new emotion are waiting.
At SNUD, Jardins de Misfah and Sun Bleached are available both as Eau de Parfum and as Extrait de Parfum, and the Discovery Set also comes in both versions.
From music to perfumery
Alexandra Cubizolles was artistic director and Philippe Solas marketing director at Universal Music before they turned their shared passion into a brand. Perfumers such as Jérôme Di Marino, Anne-Sophie Behaghel and Annick Ménardo translate the places into formulas in which the quality of raw materials and a clear, narrative line matter more than volume.
Jérôme Di Marino composed the extraits Jardins de Misfah, Chemin d'Amande, Silver Saffron and Estrella de la Mañana as well as Sun Bleached, Anne-Sophie Behaghel Nothing but Sea and Sky and Sugar Leather, Annick Ménardo Bohemian Soul.
