Mad et Len – blackened steel, lava stone and scent

Mad et Len was founded in 2007 by Sandra Fuzier and Alexandre Piffaut, who moved to Saint-Julien-du-Verdon in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence to be close to the artisans around Grasse. The two still run the house independently and deliberately small. Its vessels are unmistakable: shaped from steel by hand, welded and blackened in fire – every one a one-off. Instead of dried petals they hold lava stones and crystals soaked in concentrated fragrance, which can be refreshed again and again with refill bottles. At SNUD you'll find the Mini Pot Pourri in Darkwood, the Small Pot Pourris in Black Uddu, Figue Noire and Terre Noire and the large Pot Pourri Apothicaire in Graphite – scent without flame or electricity.
