Liis was founded by two friends: Alissa, trained at the renowned perfumery school ISIPCA in Versailles, and Leslie, a designer, artist and self-taught perfumer. They grew up just minutes apart and both collected perfume in tiny boxes as children – yet only met years later while living abroad. Their shared love of scent became Liis, a brand that treats perfume as a creative medium.

Liis is made in California with high-quality ingredients from around the world and organic sugarcane alcohol. The fragrances contain no preservatives, dyes, phthalates or sulfates, and are vegan, cruelty-free and allergy-tested. Every scent is genderless and meant to be worn like a second skin – light, personal and open to your own interpretation.

What we love most about Liis are the images each scent conjures: a rain-soaked forest in Forest Sounds, a fig garden in In This World, a quiet study in Studied. The compositions are clear and modern, yet full of poetry. You don't wear them as a statement but as a mood – and that is exactly why we love them.
