Sora Dora – a family history interpreted as a fragrance
SORA DORA was founded in 2021 by Quentin Soradora – as a tribute to his family and their story across four generations. It all begins with Antoine Soradora, Quentin's great-grandfather, who emigrated from Portugal and first arrived in the small village of Gréasque in southeastern France. From there, his path led him on to a jasmine farm in Grasse, where he eventually became head gardener – right at the heart of French perfumery, without ever becoming a perfumer himself.
It's exactly this family history that makes SORA DORA a niche perfume house that tells its story differently: every scent carries a name from that history or a personal memory. Jany, named after Antoine's daughter. Gladiator, a tribute to Éric, his grandson. Kamel Oud, dedicated to the friend who once let Antoine in on the secrets of oriental perfumery. Gréasque, the village where it all began.
Developed together with the Paris-based perfumer studio Flair and based in Nantes, SORA DORA is built entirely on highly concentrated extraits de parfum – dense, intense, with real substance rather than a fleeting top note.
