French Cowboy - Haute parfumerie with a cowboy spirit
French Cowboy is a young Parisian perfume house founded by Ashley Santiago and Adrien Ollat. Ashley is a Californian of Mexican heritage, trained at Givaudan's perfumery school under Calice Becker and the youngest perfumer at Givaudan's Paris office. Adrien is French and came from the world of finance. The name pays tribute to Ashley's Mexican grandfather, who rode as a cowboy across the Americas, and to Adrien's French roots.
Every French Cowboy scent is created together with a voice from culture, dance or food – Pear Pavlova, for example, with Allie Goodbun, a dancer at a famous Paris cabaret. Ashley composes the fragrances with high-quality ingredients and at high concentration, so they are powerful and last on the skin. The founders' aim: haute parfumerie with real craftsmanship, open to a new generation and fairly priced.
What makes French Cowboy special to us ?
What we love about French Cowboy is the joy in every bottle. The scents smell of stories – of pear and meringue, fig lemonade, mezcal and chocolate – and wear playful and confident at once. You can sense how much fun went into each composition, and that joy carries over when you wear them.
