Sometimes it all starts with a shared passion.
We, Katharina and Oliver, founded SNUD because we wanted to create a place that inspires people. A place where exceptional niche perfumes, design, and architecture meet to create an atmosphere where you simply feel comfortable.
This is how our niche perfumery came into being in the middle of Vienna's Josefstadt, a place for discovery, lingering, and exchange. Without haste. Without pressure to buy. Instead, with time for conversations, honest advice, and the joy of finding new favorite fragrances together.
Because we believe that a perfume is much more than a beautiful fragrance. It accompanies memories, awakens emotions, and tells stories. Just like architecture, a fragrance also creates atmosphere and can influence how we experience a place or a moment.
Our passion lies in fragrances with character. That's why we see ourselves not just as a perfumery, but also as curators. We are constantly searching for brands that move, surprise, and inspire us. Brands with a story, an attitude, and the courage to forge their own path.
Not every brand fits SNUD. And that's what makes our selection stand out.
We select the niche perfumes that we ourselves love, that we fully endorse, and that we believe will also delight our customers.

For us, advice doesn't end at the till. We have been advising many of our customers since our opening. They stop by to discover new brands, rediscover their favorite fragrance, or simply for a coffee and a good chat.
