Trudon – the Parisian house whose story began in 1643 as a candle maker. To this day, its candles are made in Trudon's own workshop in Normandy.
These taper candles are called Madeleine because they once lit the Madeleine church in Paris. Trudon still makes them using traditional methods in its own Normandy workshop, dyed in small batches from superior-quality wax.
Madeleine candles are dripless and smokeless – ideal for a laid table. Each box contains 6 candles in a warm corn yellow.
What makes the Madeleines special for us is their history: a simple taper that travels straight from a Parisian church to your own table.
