Trudon – the Parisian house whose story began in 1643 as a candle maker. To this day, its candles are made in Trudon's own workshop in Normandy.
Ernesto smells of leather and tobacco. Bergamot, grapefruit and rum open bright and warm, oak wood, clove, labdanum and patchouli sit at the heart, before tobacco, amber, leather and moss lay a dark, cosy base. Trudon takes us to a hotel in Havana under the sun of the Revolution – leather and tobacco mingling with the waxen silence of the wood panelling and the smoke of cigars.
Ernesto suits autumn and winter, the living room, the library and long evenings.
