Estrella de la Mañana is spicy-smoky and resinous-warm: a black vanilla pod, split open and burned over an open fire, dark cocoa powder and benzoin resin beneath it, birch for a faintly tarry edge – named after the Aztec legend of the Morning Star, from whose tears grew a shrub bearing black vanilla pods.

Best worn in autumn and winter, on cool evenings by an open fire – a bold, warm unisex signature scent.

What makes it special to us: the vanilla never turns saccharine here – cocoa, benzoin and birch give it an almost smoky depth, more burnt wood than vanilla pudding.
