Carrière Frères is a French fragrance house with a long history: in 1884 the Carrière brothers took over the Royal Wax Manufacture in Bourg-la-Reine, and in 1889 they won a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle. Today the scents tell of the botanists and explorers of the 18th century and the plants that fascinated them.
Cedar smells woody, fresh and dry. The cedar, a conifer of the pine family native to North Africa, yields an aromatic, durable and light wood. The botanical palet is made of 100% vegetable wax from European rapeseed and handmade in France. Each box holds two palets of 55 g.
The palets scent small spaces without a flame – wardrobes, drawers and the like. The ribbon lets you hang them from a door handle or coat hanger. The scent lasts at least six months.
What makes Cedar special to us: it is a calm wood scent, light and fresh at once, with no sweet undertone – a scent that keeps the wardrobe in order without drawing attention to itself.
