The Alps stretch from France to Slovenia and are better known for their landscapes than for perfumery – yet they provide rare raw materials such as juniper berries, alpine flowers, dried hay and pine needles.

Les Alpes smells of juniper, pine forest and hay – woody, green and aromatic. Pine needles and fennel open like a fresh mountain breeze, at the heart alpine juniper, geranium, cardamom and cistus come together, before hay absolute, fir balsam and woods form the base.

Les Alpes is best in autumn and winter and suits day and night. The gender-neutral extrait feels clear, calm and cool with a warm core – a scent for walks in cold air and evenings by the fire.

What makes Les Alpes special to us is the contrast: juniper and pine feel clear like winter air, hay and fir balsam lay the warmth of summer pastures over it. It was composed by Fabrice Pellegrin, who prefers to work with natural raw materials.
