L.T. Piver – a Paris perfume house founded in 1774, whose historic formulas are made once again in its own manufacture in Chartres.

Pompeïa is juicy, floral and chypre-elegant. Orange, pink pepper and jasmine open sunny, peach, ylang-ylang, iris and saffron entwine at the heart, before suede, patchouli and oakmoss settle into a noble, long-lasting base.

Pompeïa is at its best in spring and autumn, by day and by night. It suits dinners, evenings at the theatre and makes an elegant signature scent.

To us Pompeïa is a picture-book chypre – so lush with peach and saffron that it brings frescoes and golden evening light to mind. Composed in 1907 by Georges Darzens together with Jacques Rouché, later director of the Paris Opera, and inspired by the excavations at Pompeii.
