Get the most out of your Ex Nihilo candle:
- When using the candle for the first time, let it burn until the entire surface is liquid. This takes about 4 hours and prevents a cavity or "trough" from forming around the wick later.
Allow the candle to harden completely before relighting. For subsequent uses, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- To extinguish the candle, it is recommended to use a candle snuffer to avoid smoke.
- Regularly trim the wick to the ideal length of 3-5 mm using a wick cutter to avoid smoke and prevent the wick from falling into the wax.
- If the wick needs to be recentered, carefully place it in the correct position while the wax is still liquid.
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep the candle out of reach of children and pets.
