Carrière Frères is a French fragrance house with a long history: in 1884 the Carrière brothers took over the Royal Wax Manufacture in Bourg-la-Reine, and in 1889 they won a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle. Today the scents tell of the botanists and explorers of the 18th century and the plants that fascinated them.
Spearmint smells fresh, green and spicy. Spearmint is a perennial plant, probably the result of an ancient cross between two mint species, and known for its intoxicating yet subtle scent. The diffuser holds 200 ml of fragrance based on natural alcohol from French beets, bottled in 100% recycled and recyclable glass, and is made in France.
The diffuser spreads the scent through rattan reeds – no flame at all. The number of reeds decides how strongly it scents. It lasts about 8 to 12 weeks.
What makes Spearmint special to us: the scent is as clear as a freshly picked sprig of mint – green, fresh and tonic – and brings a breath of spring day even into a closed room.
