Carrière Frères is a French fragrance house with a long history: in 1884 the Carrière brothers took over the Royal Wax Manufacture in Bourg-la-Reine, and in 1889 they won a gold medal at the Exposition Universelle. The taper candles recall the decorative candles that adorned tables at the start of the 20th century, reconnecting us with the early years of the brand.
Spearmint smells fresh, green and tonic. Spearmint is a perennial plant, probably the result of an ancient cross between two mint species, and known for its intoxicating yet subtle scent. The six taper candles are made of 100% vegetable wax from European organic rapeseed and handmade in France.
The botanical scent unfolds when you open the box; lit, the taper candles give off only a golden glow. Each candle burns for about 10 hours and is 20 cm tall.
What makes Spearmint special to us: the scent is as clear as a freshly picked sprig of mint – green, spicy and fresh – and that is exactly why it suits a festively laid table so well.

Firmly upright in a candle holder, candelabra or chandelier. Leave at least 7.5 cm between burning candles and keep them out of draughts.
