BIBBI – niche perfumes by Swedish designer Stina “Bibbi” Seger, each scent a story drawn from her meditations, wrapped in deep blue.
Vanilla Factory smells of vanilla, but not of dessert. Bergamot, nutmeg and pink pepper open bright and lightly spiced, black tea, saffron and peony reveal a dark, almost leathery warmth at the heart, before patchouli, papyrus, black amber and vanilla pods settle into a dry, smoky-woody base.
Vanilla Factory belongs to the evening, ideally in autumn and winter. A unisex scent for anyone who prefers their vanilla layered rather than sweet.
What makes Vanilla Factory special to us is where it begins: on a meditative journey through a dense, dark forest in northern Sweden, Stina Seger comes upon an abandoned industrial site. The scent carries exactly that tension – organic and cool, wild and man-made at once. A vanilla that doesn't flatter, it tells a story.
