OJAR – Omani niche perfumery founded by Sheikha Hind Bahwan, named after Hojari frankincense from the Dhofar mountains and composed with leading master perfumers where East meets West.
Épine du Désert smells of rose, saffron and soft suede. Saffron and pimento open warm and spicy, pure rose blooms beside jasmine at the heart, before sandalwood, suede and dry woods settle into a supple, oriental base.
Épine du Désert can be worn all year and is strongest in autumn, winter and the evening. A unisex rose for special occasions and a signature scent with character.
With Épine du Désert, OJAR pays homage to the Mukhallat – the Middle Eastern art of blending ingredients into one seamless whole. At its core is rose oil in all its simplicity. We love how saffron and pimento warm the rose and suede lets it fade softly on the skin.
