OJAR – Omani niche perfumery founded by Sheikha Hind Bahwan, named after Hojari frankincense from the Dhofar mountains and composed with leading master perfumers where East meets West.

Routes Nomades smells of frankincense, leather and warm spice. Cypress, ginger and cardamom open fresh and spicy, ylang-ylang, vetiver and cinnamon leaf meet at the heart, before frankincense, leather and patchouli settle into a dry, warm base.

OJAR built Routes Nomades around the moment a frankincense harvester places the precious dried resin into his leather pouch – and you can smell exactly that meeting of resin and leather. We love how concrete the image is: not an abstract Orient, but a single gesture.
