Perfumers

Vincent Ricord comes from a family of perfumers in Grasse, and at 13 a school internship in a fragrance lab won him over for good. He spent more than 15 years learning his craft at Expressions Parfumées – fine fragrance, cosmetics and home scents alike. He then worked at Drom and CPL Aromas, is now Senior Perfumer at TechnicoFlor and has taught at the École Supérieure du Parfum in Paris. "Perfume is above all an emotion," he says, and he takes his ideas from music, painting and travel – he plays guitar and bass and paints regularly himself.
