The noses behind our niche fragrances
Calice Becker
Calice Becker was born in France into a family of Russian émigrés, and as a child she asked her mother how the flowers get into a bottle of eau de cologne. She found the answer at the Roure-Bertrand-Dupont perfumery school in Grasse, after which Françoise Caron took her under her wing at Quest. She created Tommy Girl (1996) and Dior J'adore (1999), plus a large part of the By Kilian line. Today she heads Givaudan's perfumery school and has received the Fragrance Foundation's Lifetime Achievement Award. At SNUD you'll find her fragrances for Essential Parfums – all of them right here.
