Perfumers
The noses behind our niche fragrances
Nathalie Lorson
Nathalie Lorson was born in Grasse and, as a child, went along with her father, a chemist, to Roure – back then, smelling was child's play for her. She learned the craft at the Roure Bertrand Dupont perfumery school, went on to work at IFF among others, and is now Master Perfumer at dsm-firmenich. She worked on YSL Black Opium and composed Lalique Encre Noire and Le Labo Another 13, and in 2015 she was named Perfumer of the Year. Her style is precise and pared back, after Saint-Exupéry: perfection is reached when there is nothing left to take away. At SNUD you'll find her fragrances for Essential Parfums and D'Orsay – all of them right here.
