Trudon – the Parisian house whose story began in 1643 as a candle maker. To this day, its candles are made in Trudon's own workshop in Normandy.
La Cloche is a bell jar of mouth-blown glass with the Trudon logo, set on a handcrafted, polished wooden base. It protects the candle and concentrates its scent.
Since opening its Paris boutique, Trudon has displayed its candles under these traditional glass bells – they are carefully lifted to reveal each candle's scent. Over the 20th century, the wedding cloche moved from symbol to collectible and decorative object.
What makes La Cloche special for us is exactly that ritual: lifting the bell is the moment the scent reaches the room – a piece of the Paris boutique at home.
