Andevalo – Extrait de Parfum

Nissaba – a Geneva perfume house that sources raw materials where they grow and supports local projects with 5% of its sales. Andevalo is born under the blazing sun of western Andalusia and puts the cistus at its centre – in the form of three labdanum extracts: cistus CO₂, labdanum absolute and pyrogenised labdanum.
Andevalo smells of leather, red fruits and labdanum – spicy, woody and smoky. Strawberry and black cherry open juicy, lifted by pink pepper and a touch of mandarin; at the heart, supple leather, resinous cistus, raspberry, rose and saffron meet, before labdanum, dark woods and patchouli form a warm, slightly smoky base.
Andevalo is best in autumn and winter and suits day and night. The gender-neutral extrait feels dense, warm and long-lasting – a scent for long evenings and for days when a little more is welcome.
What makes Andevalo special to us is the tension: the red fruits bring juice and brightness, the leather and the mineral warmth of the labdanum take them in right away. It was composed by Coralie Spicher and Fabrice Pellegrin.
