Casentino smells spicy, warm and oriental. Cardamom, cinnamon, ginger and pink pepper open bright and sharp; at the heart, leather and oud meet saffron, dates, frankincense and myrrh, before tonka bean, vanilla, patchouli, cedarwood and a dry amber accord lay down a dense, warming base.

Casentino is best in autumn and winter and in the evening. This unisex Extrait de Parfum is for anyone who loves spicy leather scents with oriental depth.

Casentino takes its name from the traditional wool cloth of the valley of the same name in Tuscany – and the bottle wears it too, wrapped in wool yarn. We love that the scent feels just the same: not smooth and polished, but dense, warm and a little rough. The spices crackle at the start, the dates give the leather an almost candied sweetness, and what stays is a warmth you want to wrap yourself in like a heavy winter coat.
