Andrea Maack – Icelandic niche perfumery from the visual artist of the same name, who has been bringing art, fashion and fragrance together since her first scent exhibition in 2010.

Craft is cool, clear and meditative – a tribute to Tadao Ando's Church of the Light, to concrete, light and silence. Aldehydes and an ice accord open crystalline, cold metal and cedarwood meet at the heart, before elemi resin and patchouli lay down a resinous, earthy base.

Craft works all year, by day and by night – in the studio, at the gallery, anywhere calm is called for. Gender-neutral and an unusual signature scent for anyone who loves minimalism.

To us, Craft is Andrea Maack in its purest form: a fragrance that starts from architecture rather than flowers. Metal, ice and resin sound austere at first, but on the skin they turn into something surprisingly warm – like sunlight falling through a concrete cross.
