Andrea Maack – Icelandic niche perfumery from the visual artist of the same name, who has been bringing art, fashion and fragrance together since her first scent exhibition in 2010.

Flux is cool, green and nocturnal – a walk through an ancient forest by moonlight. Cardamom, menthol and juicy blueberry open fresh and surprisingly fruity, eucalyptus, cypress and fir needles sit at the heart, before cedarwood, Californian sequoia and soft cashmere lay down a warm, woody base.

Flux works all year and above all by day – outdoors, on the road, on crisp winter days as much as in summer. Gender-neutral and an invigorating signature scent.

We love Flux for its blueberry. It takes all the severity out of the pine forest and turns eucalyptus and fir into something playful – and underneath, the Californian sequoia, Andrea Maack's central raw material for this scent, gives a base that smells of very old, very tall trees.
