Marsa is creamy, sweet and warmly floral – named after the Arabic word for harbour and anchorage, a tribute to Dubai's old trading ports. Milk, cherry, juniper berry and cinnamon open it soft and gourmand, while frankincense, coconut and almond add a fine, almost edible richness. At the heart, fig and sandalwood meet tuberose, jasmine and ylang-ylang in an opulent floral picture, with solar notes, lily of the valley and rose letting the light in. Amber, vanilla and praline lay down a warm, sensual base, and moss, musk and vetiver keep it elegantly woody.
