OMANLUXURY – an Omani niche perfume house that translates its homeland's fragrance heritage into contemporary perfumery.
Overdose smells bright, spicy-fresh and sensually warm. Lemon, orange, bergamot and grapefruit open sharp and spicy alongside black pepper, saffron and cardamom, jasmine, iris, lily and orange blossom unfold at the heart next to sage and fig, before cedarwood, musk, sandalwood, vetiver, ambergris, tonka bean, patchouli and plum settle into a warm, sensual base.
Overdose works best in spring and summer, by day just as well as in the evening. The gender-neutral scent makes a bold, energetic signature for anyone who prefers citrus freshness overdosed rather than held back.
What makes Overdose special for us is exactly that overdose – the citrus notes aren't used sparingly here, they're pushed to the front until they almost tip over, before jasmine, iris and a warm base of ambergris and patchouli catch them again. That play with dosage, not restraint, is the actual point of this fragrance for us.
THE SNUD SCENT GUIDE
Everything you want to know about this fragrance.
What does Overdose smell like?
Overdose smells like an overdosed wave of lemon, orange, bergamot and grapefruit, sharpened by black pepper, saffron and cardamom. Jasmine, iris, lily and orange blossom follow at the heart, before cedarwood, musk, sandalwood, vetiver, ambergris, tonka bean, patchouli and plum leave a warm, sensual depth.
How does Overdose feel on skin?
Overdose doesn't wear quietly – its citrus brightness sits close to the skin but stays loud enough to be noticed hours later. Not a skin scent, more of a statement that keeps pace with your own energy.
When do you wear Overdose?
Best worn by day in spring and summer, whenever a fragrance should give energy rather than dampen it. The gender-neutral scent works as a signature for anyone who likes citrus brightness turned up.
Which fragrance might I like if I love Overdose?
If you love Overdose's bright, powdery-warm citrus mood, Anfas offers a related feeling: Salam translates Arabian warmth into a similarly radiant composition.
