Bergamot, cardamom and ambrette open zesty, almost like biting into a slice of orange, white flowers and a crisp linen accord sit at the heart, before white musk, sandalwood, myrrh and a touch of vanilla round it all off softly. The inspiration is Muscat, the “White City” of Oman: immaculate white walls in blinding light and the long white dishdashas of Omani men, whose small tassel is traditionally dipped in perfume.
