French Cowboy – a Paris label making haute parfumerie accessible: founded by Givaudan perfumer Ashley Santiago and Adrien Ollat, each scent co-created with a voice from dance, food or culture.
Mezcal Chocolat is fiery, smoky and darkly sweet. Lime and Somali frankincense open like a shot of mezcal, sharpened by chili, cacao absolute meets a rare rum extract at the heart, before Virginia cedarwood, cypriol and smoky vanilla settle into a creamy, woody base.
Mezcal Chocolat is at its best in autumn and winter and in the evening. The unisex scent is for anyone who likes gourmand – but with fire.
What makes Mezcal Chocolat special to us is the cacao: not a synthetic accord but real cacao absolute in unusually high doses. Created with French chef Mathis Molinié, the scent plays with contrasts like a good dish – smoky and sweet, spicy and creamy.
